Pretham is a comedy horror film written, co-produced and directed by Ranjith Sankar. It is the third collaboration of Sankar and Jayasurya after Punyalan Agarbattis and .. Su... Sudhi Vathmeekam.

The film grossed ₹2.67 crore in 3 days run. Pretham has made a total gross collection of 8.75 Crores from the Kerala box office, when it completed the first 14 days of release.The movie crosses 10 crore margin with in 17 days from Kerala Box Office. As per the latest Box Office Report Pretham grossed around 14.3o crore from kerala market with in 45 days of run and it also grossed over 1.20 crore from rest of India market, All together Pretham collected around 15.5o crore from Inian Box Office.

Considering as a low budget movie Pretham already declared as a Super hit and it is become biggest solo grosser of Jayasurya. 

20 DAYS BOX OFFICE OF PRITHVIRAJ'S OOZHAM

Prithvi Raj, the young super Star in Mollywood had come up with a revenge drama in this season and it is the movie Oozham directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film released on 8 September 2016.

The film collected ₹1.25 crore in the opening day from Kerala box office. The first 4 days weekend collection is estimated at ₹4.45 crore. from 9 days Oozham collected 8.64 crore. From 15 days the movie collected around 12.10 crore from kerala box office . As per the latest reports from trade guides in the industry, the 20 days collection of Oozham from Kerala is around 14.22 crore.

 As per the reports from @Poffactio(Twitter), All India gross collection of Oozam is around 18.02 crore from 21 days. Moreover, The movie  was released UAE and the rest of the Middle East region. And after the first weekend, the movie is placed at 3rd position at UAE box office, making it top among the Indian movies during the weekend. This Prithviraj starrer had a gross collection of around Rs. 1.76 crore (3 days), after the weekend.

Prithviraj's OOZHAM got Tremendous Opening at UAE ,Placed at 3rd Position at UAE Box Office

The film released on 8 September 2016 in 97 screens in Kerala. The film collected 12.10 crore from 15 days from Kerala box office alone .The movie  was released last week in UAE and the rest of the Middle East region. And after the first weekend, the movie is placed at 3rd position at UAE box office, making it top among the Indian movies during the weekend. This Prithviraj starrer had a gross collection of around Rs. 1.76 crore, after the weekend.

Vimal, based on the real-life story of Moideen and Kanchanamala, which took place in the 1960s in Mukkam, Kozhikode. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy essay the title characters of Moideen and Kanchanamala while Bala,Tovino Thomas, Saikumar, Sashi Kumar and Lena appear in supporting roles.Music was composed by M. The screenplay was written by Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan. Sony Music released the film's soundtrack label. The song tracks were composed by Nadirshah himself, while the background score was by Bijibal.
